What’s the Best Color E-Reader Upgrade After a Kindle Paperwhite?

I've had my Kindle Paperwhite (5th gen) for 12 years, and it’s been great, especially for Kindle Unlimited and easy book access. But now I’m looking to upgrade to something with color, which led me to explore options like Colorsoft.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about Colorsoft, and the high price doesn’t help, so I’m leaning toward the Kobo Libra Color. My main concern is missing Kindle Unlimited and whether book availability on Kobo is good enough. I know Libby works on Kobo, but are there any other library/borrowing apps for it?

Oasis user here, so I’m biased, but if you want color, the Libra Color is a good choice. Transferring books from Kindle to Kobo is super easy, so you'll still have access to Amazon for those harder-to-find books.

I'm not into color and think Colorsoft is overpriced for what it offers, so I’m sticking with my Oasis. But if I wanted color, the Libra would be my pick. PocketBook makes a great color e-reader, but I’m not a fan of their software
