Walmart eBooks gift cards keep getting canceled – any Solutions?d

I bought a Walmart eBooks gift card and redeemed it on Kobo.com, then changed my address to purchase books only available in another region. Everything worked fine initially, but when I tried to purchase another gift card, Walmart kept canceling my orders.

I’ve tried different credit cards and even contacted customer support, but nothing helped. Physical Walmart stores don’t seem to sell eBooks gift cards either—staff had no idea what I was talking about. A friend was able to buy one for me, but now even their orders are being canceled.

It seems like Walmart is flagging gift card purchases tied to accounts that use them for books in other regions. This is really frustrating—does anyone know of another way to get these gift cards? I can’t keep relying on friends and risk getting their accounts banned too.

Hey Billy, that’s frustrating. It sounds like Walmart's system is flagging your account for region-switching. You could try third-party retailers that sell Kobo gift cards or contact Kobo support to find a more reliable way to redeem cards across regions.

It sounds really frustrating! Walmart might be flagging gift card purchases for unusual activity. You could try using a different email or account. Maybe look for online retailers or other stores that sell eBook gift cards?

Walmart provides insufficient support to its customers who purchase eBook gift cards. During previous attempts to reach them I learned their team was not good at resolving such problems.
