Spotify has expanded its audiobook offerings through a new partnership with U.K.-based publisher Bloomsbury, adding over 1,000 titles to its library. This move aligns with Spotify’s efforts to strengthen its position in the audiobook market, having initially launched audiobooks in 2022 for Premium tier users. The addition includes works by renowned authors like Sarah J. Maas, Madeline Miller, and Alan Moore, and features narrations by stars such as Meryl Streep and Emilia Clarke.

Key titles in the new collection include Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas, Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain, and The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. Spotify allows 15 hours of free audiobook listening monthly, with options for additional purchases. Duncan Bruce of Spotify highlighted the partnership as a milestone in enhancing their audiobook offerings, emphasizing its role in redefining user experiences.
