- PocketBook InkPad 4, PocketBook Era, PocketBook Verse Pro
Thinking about PocketBook Verse Pro and PocketBook Verse Pro Color I decided to buy the Verse Pro (BW version).
I will briefly review this device, but I am open to any questions you may wish to ask. Please reply to this thread.
I already own two PocketBook devices, InkPad 4 and Era (BW). So, 8-inch and 7-inch reader. I wanted to try out a 6-inch reader and, as I love PocketBook devices, I decided to go for the same brand again. I was worried that the 6-inch will be too small, but for me, this size is the best!
Just a quick note on colour devices. I'm still not sure I would choose an e-ink colour display. It's not that I'm not interested, but I only read normal text e-books and there's no need for a colour device because it's just nice to have colour book covers. Colour devices with electronic ink have an extra layer on the screen, so they are not very useful without the front light always on (except when reading outside).
It is such a wonderful device. I love my Era e-reader, and the Verse Pro is basically the same, but in a smaller format. The screen is sharp, but you can see at the bottom that the front light is not that strong. But it's really at the bottom, so it doesn't bother me.

As mentioned, it is very similar to the Era, but you can easily fit this reader in your pocket. Read about Era and InkPad 4 here: Device review - PocketBook InkPad 4 and PocketBook Era (and its screen controversy)
For now, I do not see this as a disadvantage. But time will tell whether it will be a dust and dirt collector at the edges.

PocketBook Verse Pro - brilliant
Build quality
The build quality is excellent and the Passion Red version is so charming. The colour is perfect. The colour is a bit more vibrant than on the image below (it is challenging to capture the right colour):Red Shell Cover
I ordered the original red shell cover and it feels so nice. The material is so soft and pleasant to the touch. It is slightly different from the original cover for the InkPad 4 and Era. I like this one the best for the Verse Pro.< InkPad 4, Era and Verse Pro in their covers >

Recessed screen
One thing to mention. The InkPad 4 and Era have a flush screen, while the Verse Pro screen is slightly recessed (see image below). For now, I do not see this as a disadvantage. But time will tell whether it will be a dust and dirt collector at the edges.
Physical buttons
The other thing is that when you press the buttons, you can hear the clicking much more than on the Era. It is not an issue for me, but just something to keep in mind. Some more images to compare all three e-readers:
