Pocketbook Inkpad EO vs Color Note

I see Pocketbook is to issue new color kaleido 3 10" ereader with Color Note.
Existing Inkpad EO has also a 10" color screen Kaleido 3.

Do you know if there are differences about screen specifications ?

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, Inkpad EO has 300 PPI (Greyscale); 150 PPI (Color), but Color Note has 227 PPI (Greyscale); 76 PPI (Color).

The Color Note will also come with Android 12 and slightly improved format support, but with a slightly weaker processor.

So new screen (color note) performs less than the existing one (Inkpad Eo).
I am not sûre andoid 12 is far Better than 11 for e reader use.
And processor would be weakier with the new one
Very strange. I dont understand Pocketbook product policy within 10" color e readers

Yes, interesting. I am not sure why such approach. I am not keen on using Android on e-readers. I try to avoid it. But my usage of e-readers is simply reading books.

Yes, Android 12 or 11 on an e-reader won't make much difference.
