Michael J. Fox’s upcoming memoir, Future Boy, offers a deep dive into a pivotal year in his career—1985—when he simultaneously starred in Family Ties as Alex P. Keaton and filmed Back to the Future as Marty McFly. This never-before-told story highlights the intense workload Fox took on, balancing sitcom rehearsals by day and blockbuster movie shoots by night. Co-written with longtime collaborator Nelle Fortenberry, the book features fresh interviews with cast and crew from both projects. Future Boy promises to be an essential read for fans of 1980s and 1990s pop culture and anyone interested in a behind-the-scenes look at a defining era in television and film history.

Expected release in October 2025.
