How to stop Note Air 3 from converting handwritten notes to text?

I use my Note Air 3 to annotate PDFs for class, but sometimes it randomly converts batches of my handwritten notes into text and lines when I load the PDFs.

Does anyone know how to disable this feature? It’s pretty frustrating.

To stop the auto conversion, go to the settings on your Note Air 3 and disable “Handwriting Recognition” or “Text Conversion.”

You might also want to check the specific app settings you're using for annotation. Some apps have auto-conversion toggled on by default for handwritten notes.

If disabling “Handwriting Recognition” doesn’t work, try switching to another app or saving the file in a different format (like flattened PDFs) to preserve your handwriting. This prevents accidental conversions when reopening the document.
