Can you use Tachiyomi or similar Apps on the Kobo Elipsa?

The Kobo Elipsa is really tempting, but I primarily read manga through Tachiyomi. Does anyone know if it’s possible to install Tachiyomi on the Elipsa or use a similar app that lets you download manga directly from the source?

Would love to hear if anyone has tried this or found a good workaround.

The Elipsa doesn’t support Android apps like Tachiyomi, but you can work around it:
  1. Use Tachiyomi on your phone to download manga and transfer the files (like PDFs or CBZs) to your Elipsa via USB.
  2. Try installing KOReader on the Elipsa—it works well with manga formats like CBZ and CBR.
If you’re set on native Tachiyomi, an Android-based eReader like Onyx Boox might be a better fit.
