This video provides a detailed overview of Boox’s Q2 2025 product announcements. Four major devices were introduced:
1. Go 7 and Go Color 7 Gen II – These refreshed e-readers now include handwriting capabilities and use the new Boox InkSense active stylus (sold separately). The Go 7 comes in monochrome (black or white), while the Go Color 7 Gen II uses a Kaleido 3 color e-ink panel. Improvements include better button design and water-repellent features. Specifications largely match the previous generation, but prices differ: Go 7 is priced at $220, and Go Color 7 pricing is yet to be confirmed.
2. Tab X C – A 13.3” color e-paper tablet that adds front light and Kaleido 3 display to the previous Note Max model. Unlike the Note Max, it lacks a paper-like writing surface, potentially reducing writing quality. It also introduces the Inkspire stylus with magnetic attachment, wireless charging, and haptic feedback. The device includes 6 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, Android 13, and Google Play support, and is priced at $760—$110 more than the Note Max.
3. InkSense and Inkspire Styluses – Two new Boox styluses. InkSense (around $42) is a basic, USB-C rechargeable pen without magnetic features. Inkspire, available only with Tab X C for now, includes tilt sensitivity, wireless charging, and haptic feedback.
4. Mira Pro Color – A 25.3” Kaleido 3 color e-paper monitor designed for professional use. It includes dual front light, aluminum build, pivoting stand, and broad connectivity (DisplayPort, HDMI, USB-C). It’s aimed at users needing eye-friendly, large-format color displays and is positioned to compete with similar products like the Dasung Paperlike Color.
