The Boox Note Max Magnetic Keyboard Cover had high expectations, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. While it offers full-size keys and a decent typing feel, poor typing precision, trackpad issues, and a serious design flaw make it a questionable accessory. The biggest concern? The keyboard itself acts as the front cover, making repeated direct contact with the fragile ePaper screen—without any impact protection. Worse, it can slide and rub against the screen when closed. In this review, I break down why this design choice could be a serious problem and whether this accessory is worth the risk.
