The Boox Note Air4 C (NA4C) and Boox Note Air3 C (NA3C) e-ink tablets share many similarities, including identical physical dimensions, color e-ink screens, hardware specs like an octa-core CPU, 64GB of storage, and essential connectivity options. Both have a 10.3″ Kaleido 3 screen with frontlight and are similar in basic function.
However, the NA4C brings notable upgrades. It has 6GB of RAM (up from 4GB), a Snapdragon 750G processor for a modest performance boost, and a brighter frontlight. Battery life may be slightly better on the NA4C, though this could also be due to age-related battery degradation in older NA3C models. The NA4C runs on Android 13, offering longer software support, while the NA3C is on Android 12.
Software on the NA4C is more versatile, with enhancements to the user interface, note-taking, and reading apps, including new tools, outline features, customizable reading modes, and a scrolling screenshot function. Despite these advancements, the improvements may not justify an upgrade for current NA3C owners, as both models remain high-quality e-ink tablets.
