BookFab Kindle Converter Launches with DRM Removal and EPUB Conversion for Kindle eBooks

On May 13, 2025, DVDFab launched BookFab Kindle Converter, a new software designed to remove DRM from purchased Kindle eBooks and convert them to EPUB format, allowing use on non-Amazon eReaders and apps. It also supports conversion to MP3 and OPUS audiobooks.

• Lifetime license: $67.49 (rendering the 1-year option impractical)
• Free trial available

How it Works:

• Requires Kindle for PC and an Amazon login
• Converts KFX-format eBooks to EPUB with claimed retention of formatting
• Requires an internet connection and runs on Windows only

While BookFab offers a new method amid Amazon’s tighter restrictions, free DRM removal tools still exist, making the value of paid options debatable unless those tools stop working. The author has not tested the software but encourages user feedback.
