Bigme has released a significant software update for its HiBreak Pro E Ink smartphone, addressing several key issues and adding new features. The update fixes ghosting problems, enhances display performance, introduces a new ultra-fast mode, adds Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities, and resolves various notification bugs.

The HiBreak Pro is currently the most powerful E Ink smartphone available, featuring a 6.13-inch Carta 1200 display, MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor (2.4GHz octa-core), 8GB RAM, and 256GB of non-expandable storage. It supports 4G/5G, dual-SIM, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and Wi-Fi connectivity. It also includes a 20MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

Despite a mono speaker and average sound quality, the device’s unique E Ink display and high-end specs make it stand out in a niche market. Bigme reports selling 10,000 units, signaling strong interest in the device.
