Best note apps for Boox devices?

I’m thinking of a Boox Page mainly for reading digital notes. I currently use Markor and Joplin on my phone and want a distraction-free e-ink screen to view them.

Does anyone use their Boox for digital notes? How’s your workflow? Do Joplin and Markor run smoothly? Can you use Syncthing to sync files like on an Android phone? Any other note apps you’d recommend?
