Almost all users have reported a yellow band at the bottom of the display, particularly noticeable when the front light is on. The e-reader currently has a low average rating of 2.5 stars from nearly 500 reviews. In response, Amazon acknowledged the issue, with a spokesman stating that affected customers can request a replacement or refund. Amazon is adjusting production to prevent further issues, though shipping delays are expected until mid-November in the U.S. and later in Europe.
